Hi, recently I read A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson, which covered many scientific discoveries and a lot of general science topics.
I also read How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie, which included some interesting facts about human psychology.
The problem is that both books are quite old, and some of the “facts” in them are either outdated or no longer considered accurate. So I was wondering if you know any good and interesting science books similar to Bryson’s or maybe books that focus more specifically on topics like quantum mechanics, gravity, and time, but explained in a way that helps someone simply understand them.
I’m also interested in books about psychology, the structure of the brain, how humans function, and how human thinking works. or just book about interesting facts.

    1. *The Social Animal* by Aronson is a great intro to social psychology.

*A Brief History of Time* by Stephen Hawking covers cosmology, and the relationship between gravity and time.

Because you mentioned it, I kind of liked *How To Win Friends and Influence Peope,* but I strongly urge people not assume they’re taking scientific fact from it.

The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is fantastic and humanises the development of cell research.
