Hello, I’m relatively new to philosophy and recently started reading a book called 'Vagaries'. I haven’t read anything quite like it before, and I find it intriguing, though also slightly disorienting.

For those more experienced with philosophy, is this kind of experience common when engaging with philosophical texts? How did you approach reading philosophy when you were first starting out?
