I am an enthusiastic fiction reader but often struggle to get into nonfiction. I'm not looking for memoirs. Here are some thoughts to be more specific:
– I'm interested in science but don't have an extensive science background.
– I like history but would like to avoid a lot of violent/traumatizing history due to being stressed out and unhappy about current US politics
– I also like linguistics
– I imagine I'll have a hard time getting into technology or finance topics
– I'd prefer not too much medicine or psychology because I'm a burnt out healthcare worker
I did enjoy the following:
Braiding Sweetgrass
Everything is Tuberculosis
Thanks!
