Looking for a novel that has a framing story as well as a number of nested stories that work well enough on their own but also build on each other to create a larger story when put together.
I’d much prefer something adult, ideally upmarket. Sci-fi/fantasy would be a big plus. Quirky/weird goes to the front of the line.
