NEED Books where the MCs frequently save each other – like Katabasis by R.F Kuang

Another favorite of mine is both Villains books by V.E Schwab – so Ig i also like it when they frequently endanger each other LOL.

I think these examples illustrate the genre & reading level I am looking for, but the most important thing to me is the character dynamic here. In Katabasis, the role of being calm, cool and collected in dangerous and bewildering situations is basically hot potatoed between the MCs throughout, allowing frequent moments of vulnerability and caring. Peter is one of my favorite book characters ever, I need more.
