    Pretty much the title.
I’m looking for a book that teaches me about the variety of life forms on our planet and some of the unique adaptions that have evolved. Thanks!

    1. Richard Dawkins’s The Blind Watchmaker is perhaps more a book about evolution generally, but it has many interesting examples of different kinds of adaptations. (It is kind of a sequel to his book The Selfish Gene, which is more about the mechanisms of evolution and natural selection, and maybe not what this post calls for, but is still one of my favorite non-fiction books).
