What I mean by this is written in the same era (if not that's fine too, the more the merrier) with sharp wit, character development, courtship, drama, observations on society and family. I am close to finishing P&P and deeply dreading it as it is now my favorite novel and haven't read anything like it. If you have any suggestions, please share!
