Hi everyone,
I recently got into the whole literary-prize-sphere – especially the Women's Prize, Booker and the Lammys. Putting aside the problematics with prestige and what I'm sure are certain unequal standards for each of these prizes, I kinda enjoy reading about them and watching the bookTubers and others make predictions and have discussions about the nominations.
So for those of you who are already immersed in that world – any predictions on which books will make it to the longlist of the Women's Prize for Fiction for 2026 (which will be published in March)?
If so, what makes you think that? Like, is it extremely successful books? Books you've seen come up in literary circles? Reveiwed multiple times by the big media outlets?
