I love memoirs and essays, especially on audiobook read by the author (although that's not a requirement). However, almost all of them are by white women. I really would like to hear from more Black women and POC (besides Becoming which I read and loved). Any suggestions?

*Finding Me: A Memoir* by Viola Davis. Listening to her read is captivating! This was the first audiobook I ever listened to (and probably the last because I doubt I will find one as powerful).
I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings- Maya Angelou (probably the most classic)
The Light We Carry- Michelle Obama
I read mostly comedic memoirs so:
Self Inflicted Wounds- Aisha Tyler
Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me- Mindy Kaling (not black, but POC)
Born a Crime-Trevor Noah (not a woman, but black. Also not entirely comedy. Fantastic book with laughs and cries)
Men We Reaped by Jesmyn Ward
Misbehaving at the Crossroads by Honoree Jefferies
How to Say Babylon by Safiya Sinclair
Dust Tracks on the Road by Zora Neale Hurston
Hunger by Roxanne Gay
Misadventures of an Awkward Black Girl by Issa Rae
