I’m looking for some quick series reads to help reach my goal of 100 books this year. I lost time reading series with 600+ pages books. Don’t mind YA or MA. I don’t like most romance, too heavy of social commentary, or drama. I do like strong plots and interesting characters, dystopian, horror, magic, themes. Here are some examples:

    *Loved*

    *Harry Potter

    *Hunger Games

    *Villains Code

    *Gamehouse Series

    *The Uglies series

    *Blackwater trilogy

    *Dungeon Crawler Carl

    .

    *Goodish*

    *Dark Profits

    *Grishaverse books

    *UnwindSeries

    *Shades of Magic

    *Paper Magician series

    .

    *Hated*

    *Twilight

    *Crave

    *Red Queen

    *50 Shades of Gray

    *Divergent

    *Watchtower

    *The Rampart Trilogy

    Thank you!!

    1. Vamperstein-Bex on

For some very quick reads (like 150-350 pages per book) you could go for some of the Point Horror books like

      The Baby-sitter (4 books) R. L Stine

      Nightmare Hall by Diane Hoh

The Unseen series (4 books) by Richie Tankersley Cusick

Vampire’s promise series (3 books) by Caroline B. Cooney

      Some others to look into,

Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs (6 books) (YA, Horror, fantasy, adventure)

Contagion series by Erin Bowman (2 books) (YA, Horror, science fiction)

Balefire series by Cate Tiernan (4 books) (YA, witch, fantasy)

Savage Island by Bryony Pearce (2 books) (YA horror, mystery)

Frozen Charlotte by Alex Bell (2 books) (YA, Horror)

Bad Girls Don’t Die trilogy by Katie Alender (YA, Horror, mystery)

    2. *Percy Jackson* seems an obvious suggestion, in case you don’t know it yet. Countless books, easy to read, very entertaining.

*Chrestomanci* series by Diana Wynne Jones

*Not Your Sidekick* series by C. B. Lee

*Furthermore* and *Whichwood* by Tahereh Mafi
