Hello! I joined a reading project this year on classic literature. We were given a list of classics to read, on per month.
March's book is Lolita, by Nabokov, but I don't wanna read that one, so I was looking for another Russian classic. I thought of trying Anna Karenina, but it's 800+ pages and I fear I won't be able to tackle that in a month since I'm still getting used to reading again (last time I read a book that long was ASOIAF in like… 2017).
So, could you recommend a Russian classic that's around 400 pages max?
