Could you please recommend a real quality writngs you've read which have enjoyable storytelling and also realistically reflect the culture/politics/history of the country or region the story takes place in. Does not matter where it is at – Kazakstan, Peru, Hawaii, Mozambique, Georgia or New Zealand, as long as it's written by preferably the local author and has a good English translation. Thank you.
