i’ve just read the institute by stephen king and i like the premise of it, i don’t love the physic children though as it’s a little too far from the true world. i’m looking for a psychological, chilling, almost dystopian/sci fi kind of book without *FAR FETCHED* supernatural abilities, inclusion of outer space travel, or romance, as it will connect with me more. if it’s depressing, even better. i’m not too big a fan of older books like 1984 just because i don’t find them too engaging. please help!!
