Anyone who read The Concise 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene? How would you rate it?

I read the full version a few years back and honestly it’s pretty dark but weirdly addictive. Greene basically breaks down all these manipulation tactics throughout history – some of it feels like a manual for being a sociopath but there’s definitely valuable stuff about reading people and protecting yourself from office politics type situations

The concise version probably cuts out a lot of the historical examples which are actually the best part imo. Those stories about Renaissance courts and ancient Chinese strategists really drive the points home. I’d say it’s worth reading just to understand how power games work even if you don’t plan on using the more ruthless tactics yourself
