I am looking for books which are thrillers which would best fit the neo-noir psychological thriller type genre. I'm really into movies that involve infidelity lies/double lives and murder in some cases.
Movies like that would be –
Gone Girl (movie and book)
The Bedroom Window (1987)
The Last Seduction (1994)
Match Point (2005)
Malice (1993)
Fatal Attraction
and many more. I'm hoping that someone could suggest some books that are similar to these, I've found that its surprisingly hard to find good books that are actually similar to these movies.

Proper hard to find books that nail that specific vibe isnt it. Most thrillers either go too psychological or too procedural without hitting that sweet spot of morally ambiguous characters scheming against each other
You might want to check out The Talented Mr Ripley series – not modern setting but has that manipulative protagonist thing down perfectly. For something more contemporary try Big Little Lies or Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn since you liked Gone Girl. Tana French does brilliant atmospheric stuff too though her books lean more literary
The thing with neo-noir is it works so well visually that books sometimes struggle to capture that same sleazy glamorous feeling without getting bogged down in description
