Hi everyone! I’m a new reader and recently tried to read The Body Keeps the Score (Bessel van der Kolk) because of all the praise, but I just couldn’t get through it. So I decided to start with something lighter and fun instead.
I picked up Dark Matter by Blake Crouch (recommended on Reddit), and I loved it, finished it in 2 days! I really enjoy suspense thrillers and fast-paced stories that keep me hooked, but I’m also open to other genres as long as the book keeps me interested from start to finish (I’m more of a movie person, so stories that read like a film are my vibe).
Can you suggest books like Dark Matter-gripping, fast read, thrilling or even different genres that are page-turners and beginner-friendly?
