I read in most genres, but my favorites tend to be Mystery/Suspense/Thrillers, "Domestic Fiction" (particularly books featuring family secrets/complicated family dynamics), Magical Realism fantasy, and Horror. I don't really like romance or "A Something of Something and Something" fantasies.

I used to read TONS of YA books in high school (obviously) and through college until I was about 25, and then I started to get annoyed by all these 15 year olds going on epic world-saving journeys, and/or dealing with their high school problems.

So, since then I haven't really read anything that is really considered "YA" with a few exceptions, and I'm curious if I've missed anything that is/was really good recently.

The YA books that I've read "recently" (within the past couple years) and LOVED!!! are The Diviners Series by Libba Bray and Maureen Johnson's Stevie Bell/Truly Devious series.
I also read and liked well enough A Good Girls Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson, and We Were Liars and Family of Liars by E. Lockhart.

If you read YA, what books have you loved that have come out in, say the past 5 or so years that you think are worth reading?
