My favorite books include:
Runaway Horses (mishima)
Sirens of Titan (vonnegut)
The Wind Up Bird Chronicle (murakami)
Steppenwolf (hesse)
The Book of Disquiet (pessoa)
I'm reading A Farewell to Arms right now and am really liking it. I plan on Sometimes A Great Notion next because that's a book I've wanted to read for the longest time. Just want another really great book! Genre doesn't matter except for steering clear of fantasy. I've read a lot of genres that I love but have never liked a fantasy book.

You should check out [Beautiful Shining People](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beautiful_Shining_People) by Michael Grothaus. It’s kinda like Hesse and Murakami got together to write a very insightful near-future speculative fiction that takes place in Tokyo.
