Been through a lot of thrillers and haven't found much with the same grit and edge of sharp objects and dark places. I liked gone girl too, but it's my least favorite of the lot.
I was about to ask this same thing!!! Just finished Sharp Objects. I love a good thriller but feel like most are so poorly written. Gillian Flynn does it well.
