I just looked at my shelf and saw Thick as Thieves (2011) by Peter Spiegleman, which I read before the pandemic, and I remembered that I thought it was pretty good. And then I thought to myself that I'd not come across a heist novel since and that I'd like to read something similar. So I'm looking for newish (post-2000s), hard-boiled heist novels. I'd prefer something serious and relayively realistic, like Richard Stark's Parker novels, as opposed to his lighter Dortmunder novels. I began reading Heat 2 (2022) by Michael Mann, but lost interest early on.
Thanks in advance.
