I’m looking for book recommendations to add to my reading list! These are some books I recently read and enjoyed:

The Book Thief, this is one of my favourite books bc of the writing style, the plot and just the emotional connection with each character and their relationships in general

Woman at Point Zero, I have no words besides this was beautifully written and it changed the way I viewed life which I really like, and the plot was fast but not too fast

To Kill a Mockingbird, I loved the pov from Scout who’s a little girl and I loved how it represented various themes through daily life and the court case

The Secret Garden, however I prefer this one less because I felt the story had too little traction for my liking but I did enjoy the leisure read and the characters 🙂
I would prefer books that aren’t written in the hard-to-read old English! Another thing is I don’t really enjoy books that are 100% based on romance, and I’d also rather a more leisure read rather than a read that requires more thinking and reflection such as 1984 (which I enjoyed, but I wouldn’t read it for leisure hahaha)
