I am looking for books about Berlin Wall during that period of time , it could be true stories which related to Berlin Wall ,or fictional stories about / related to Berlin Wall, thank you !

When I was a kid I read a book called *Flight for Freedom* which was a true story about two families who built a hot-air balloon out of scraps and used it to fly over the wall. (Disney made a film adaptation called *Night Crossing* which strikes me as a much better title.) This was a children’s book but you may be able to find something about it written for adults. The family names were Strelzyk and Wetzel.
Also, not long ago, I read a novel called *The Spy Who Came in From the Cold*, a Cold War novel from 1963 by famed author John le Carré. A lot of it took place in East Berlin and the Wall played a big part. I knew nothing about this book (or the film adaptation for that matter) and let’s just say it did not go the way I was expecting …
