Hello everyone! I recently bought the ASOIAF books after watching the first two seasons of Game of Thrones (I’m currently halfway through season three). For people who’ve read the books and watched the show, what’s the ideal way to experience both? Should I finish the show first, or start reading while I’m still watching? Thanks! (pls no spoilers)

honestly id say read the books first since the show kinda goes off the rails later and the books have way more detail and characters that got cut
