Desperately seeking post apocalyptic read.

Hello all!

I am deep in search of a fantastic adult post apocalyptic book and or series.

I want the world to be decimated, maybe there are zombies, maybe there’s other creatures, maybe the event that created the end of the world was an atomic bomb or some other type of life ending disease, I don’t care about the how, but I want fallout 4 type post apocalyptic.

I want to emerge from a cave and have everything gone. I want buildings decimated, society obliterated. I want parking structures refurbished into tiny civilizations. I want gangs and bandits and radiated, toxic walking fish or something, I WANT CURRENCY TO BE A USELESS HOUSE HOLD ITEM!

I don’t care, but I want adults to be the main characters, romance is preferred however not mandatory. I want struggle and adventure and heartbreak.

Please, please please if anybody has some good recommendations on truly chaotic amazing post apocalyptic books, feel free to drop them in the comments. I’m dying for something different.

I have already been recommended Daggermouth, bones and the second book is fang or something like that, us dark few, and a couple other ones that get recommended a lot but I want something truly different.

Please don’t make me write this book myself.
