I love, love, LOVE Michelle paver's series Chronicles of Ancient Darkness and Gods and Warriors. I've read them several times.
But now want something new but also similar. What I like about her books besides the characters and story is how she mix together history and fantasy. She describes stone age and bronze age without making it sound like a history book and it feels like i'm actually there. She weave history and magic in a cool way.
Is there any similar books? Preferably with history. It could be any genre including young adult or even kids around age 12. Only thing I don't want is any NSFW I hate how so many history books have rape and stuff.
