Fantasy Book or Series similar to Beautiful Creatures- must have male protagonist

Loved the Beautiful Creatures series by Garcia and Stohl. Looking for something similar, but having difficulty finding anything with a male protagonist. That was one thing that really set the series apart.

The Southern Gothic theme was great too, but may be a bit hard to find as it seems to be a small genre so nice to have but not necessary.

Like things with the supernatural. Pretty flexible as long as there’s a male protagonist. Tried a couple with female ones and just couldn’t get into them.
