I want to add a book to my Valentine’s Day gift for my partner. I’ve realized that all the things we’ve watched together lately that he’s really enjoyed are murder mysteries or thrillers (for example, he really liked the Knives Out series). He’s not very into historical fiction, so any suggestions for mystery/thriller (specifically murder mystery) books set in the present day would be helpful.
