Hi, wondering if anyone can recommend some books where the narrator is an animal.
I am currently reading Remarkably Bright Creatures. I also bought the Axeman’s carnival. So I have these two already.
In terms of the vibes of the books, I recently finished reading Frankie by J. M. Gutsch and Maxim Leo and I LOVE IT. I guess I love how Frankie reveals a lot of his personal feelings when he narrates the book so I get to know how he feels. It’s hard to describe but I also love the general sentiment of the book, a bit melancholy I guess? And the things Frankie feels resonated with a lot of feelings I have about things. Maybe thats another reason I love it. And the writers reveal so many layers and subtleties of feelings with so few and simple words it’s remarkable. It’s also very funny I literally laughed out loud so many times reading it. So it would be nice if anyone knows books similar to this.
