Endurance by Alfred Lansing.
*Endurance* by Alfred Lansing seems like an obvious choice.
Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing
The Gales of November: The Untold Story of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Robert J. Hemming
I definitely recommend _Batavia’s Graveyard_ by Mike Dash. I read it when it was new, some parts of it still haunt me.
In the heart of the sea, by Nathaniel Philbrick. An inspiration for Moby Dick, so…yikes.
Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson (assuming you mean all shipwrecks not just polar ones)
Adam Shoalts and Ken McGoogan are good authors for this subject.
