Hey everyone, looking for some recommendations!

I'm a 20-year-old student (studying Data Science and Economics) from the US, usually in California, but spending a semester studying in Singapore. Generally, I'm a fan of non-fiction work, but at times I enjoy realistic/historical fiction as well.

I'm a big sports/data guy, and I like economic discussion as well. I love Michael Lewis's writing, and I enjoy the perspectives of people like Malcolm Gladwell, too. The Freakonomics book series was one of my favorites, and I listen to their podcast weekly. I'm starting to realize, however, that it is the narrative style of the aforementioned authors that keeps me so entertained; I've found myself struggling with books like Why Nations Fail, which, although following a similar theme, don't have the same narrative storyline.

I would love to hear any recommendations you might have! Thanks so much!
