Perhaps grand (doesn’t have to be) story

with protagonist and an antagonist.

A villain whom we’ve seen shift throughout the story for reasons we can possibly understand but not agree with.

So yeah Greatest villains.

Maybe a fantasy.

Could be Classic Literature, contemporary.
