I read "The Lord of the Rings", the whole thing had about 1200 pages, I couldn't fucking remember the things of these pages I only remembered maybe ~50, because I couldn't concentrate and I have this thing where reread some page = waste of time.
I read it for about a week, 2 hours every day. But I had this problem when I was the 4th grade I got some book called "Treasure Island" – still I couldn't focus and remember a thing.
But sometimes I read books normally I don't know where it comes from, that sometimes I can read a book as some pro and sometimes I can't do fucking a thing and my memory to it is 5% that everything I read.
So any book recommendations? Like what the books you read? Maybe it's not my taste but this is weird because I read "The Hobbit" and I could focus normally. I don't know if my focus isn't consistent and sometimes it spins like that – weird as fuck

Dude the hobbit vs LOTR makes total sense – hobbit is way more straightforward and moves faster while LOTR gets bogged down in like 20 pages of tom bombadil singing or whatever. Maybe try some shorter fantasy stuff like Brandon Sanderson’s warbreaker or mistborn, they’re way more action-packed and easier to stay locked in on.
Also don’t beat yourself up about rereading pages, literally everyone does that when they zone out.
