I’ve recently picked up my old hobby of binging web novels but I’m also a big reader, or want to be more of one. my guilty pleasure though is I DO love cheesy romance tropes like historical romances, mafia boss, and enemies to lovers slow burns. but it feels like it’s such an over saturated market that any recommendations I see are short 2-300 page stories with poor entry level writing depth and no world/character development outside of the main love story. which is so boring when I can see everything coming from a mile away and the female protagonist is just making terrible choices and has no life outside of the love interest. can anyone recommend me actually good romance novels? ive recently read all of James islington’s series and I am in love with his writing style, but it just leaves me wanting to find similar books and series! i just want an adult level reading experience for my dead horse romance tropes
