Dear fellow readers,
I find myself standing before my little tower of unread stories, each of them whispering in its own voice, each promising a different kind of journey and yet I cannot decide which path to take first.
So I thought I would place this gentle dilemma into your well-read hands.
Here are the contenders currently waiting on my bedside table:
📖 Gabrielle Zevin — Morgen, Morgen und wieder Morgen
(English: Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow)
📖 Alice Winn — Durch das große Feuer
(English: In Memoriam)
📖 Caroline Schmitt — Liebewesen
(No English edition available — at least not yet.)
📖 Joey Goebel — Freaks
📖 Keri Lake — Nocticadia
I’m drawn to each of them for different reasons; some for their atmosphere, some for the promise of aching beauty, others for their strangeness or darkness.
So I would love to ask you!
Which one should I read next?
Which story lingered with you, unsettled you, comforted you, or refused to let you go?
I’m very much looking forward to your thoughts and to beginning whichever journey you place in my hands 🌀📚
