I’m going on a long bus trip soon and I’m looking for book recommendations. I’d love something easy to read but still really engaging — the kind of story that makes you forget you’re on a bus.
Open to any genre (fiction, thriller, romance, fantasy, etc.). What would you recommend?

‘Noughts and Crosses’ is a good easy read and really makes the time fly.
Penthesilea: Rise of an Amazon by Stephanie Vanise. Super easy and engaging.
Cormoran Strike series – they’re massive books, but quick, engaging reads, and you can get them on an e-reader
A Short Stay in Hell, by Steven Peck.
I haven’t read the book but I did once take a two-day bus ride and the title seems apt.
Doors of Eden, Adrian Tchaikovsky.
