Books where a character is in love, maybe star-crossed, bad timing etc but I want some can’t sleep can’t eat kind of yearning. Doesn’t need to have a happy ending, I want real- preferably literary fiction, can be novella or short stories even- no YA, generally no fantasy please but I am potentially open to some fantastical elements depending on the writing.
