Recommend me the best non academic & non self help book you have ever read! DIFFICULTY EXTREMELY HARD.
However there's a catch. Im a college student and only borrow books from my college library. The library is extremely massive and has countless books but most of them are academic books with a few non fiction self help books.
Me and my friends have been trying to find atleast 1 fantasy book since the last 30 minutes and have had 0 success.
I really do not know if it will contain alot of if any fiction.
Luckily I have access to the e-library on my phone with the student login so I can cross verify the books you'll recommend!
Just tell me the name of a book and ill search it up and let you'll know if it exists there. Trust me there's a 99.99999% chance it does not.
I SERIOUSLY DO NOT MIND ANY GENRE. Haven't read a good non academic book in ages.
LET THE HUNTS BEGIN.

Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad was the most challenging thing I’ve read.
Challenge accepted! These are a couple of my favourites
– Dune by Frank Herbert
– Fairy Tale by Stephen King
– A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin
I thought *The Sound and the Fury* was interesting and I bet your school library will have it.
Thomas Mann’s Joseph & His Brothers – not fantasy, but Mann combining history and mythology to tell the story of Joseph from the book of Genesis.
For fantasy – R. Scott Bakker’s The Darkness That Comes Before (book 1 of The Prince of Nothing)
Gravity’s Rainbow by Pynchon. Or Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E. Lawrence. Finnegans Wake by Joyce. The Voynich Manuscript.
