Hi all! I really want to get into fantasy but I'm kind of picky 😅 can anyone recommend a fantasy book or series that:
- Is not too difficult to get into: nothing super wordy or very vast world-building please, I don't mind big books though!
- Not romance focused: it can have romance but not a major plot please
Those are the main two things I think! Any ideas would be super appreciated x

* *Percy Jackson* by Rick Riordan
Dandelion Dynasty by Ken Liu has great world building, and has a little bit of everything that makes a big series good, yet it isn’t that large. It has a great ending and isn’t as complex and massive like some series out there, yet still challenging enough to stay interesting and entertaining. Otherwise just read Mistborn for a more YA entry point with cool magic and faster paced plot.
