So fucking obsessed with Hamlet. Particularly the relationship between Hamlet and Horatio, as well as the whole tragedy and Hamlet just being a teenager with severe mental health issues and the tragedy was entirely avoidable–y'all get it. Any books with the same…'vibe', if that makes sense?

The Secret History by Donna Tartt hits those same notes – college students instead of royalty but you get that same sense of inevitable tragedy and characters making terrible decisions that spiral out of control. The narrator has this detached observer quality like Horatio watching everything fall apart, and there’s definitely some questionable mental health situations going on with the main characters
