Loss of a parent

Any suggestions for a book where a character (ideally an adult but I’m open minded) deals with the loss of a parent? I recently unexpectedly lost my dad and I’m not sure exactly what I’m looking for but it would probably be best if they learn to cope with it. It doesn’t have to be the entire storyline, it could be a subplot. I’m even open to a non fiction or memoir.
