i am in my late forties and this past year is the first time I’ve ever gotten really immersed in reading. here are the last few books I really enjoyed.
lonesome dove. easily near the top of the list of my all time favorites.
normal people, beautiful world where are you, and intermezzo. the last being my favorite of the rooney books
north sun or the voyage of whale ship esther

the land in the winter
train dreams
Grand Rapids by Natasha Stagg
augustus by John Williams.
and most recently Hard Falling Rain
i really liked if not loved nearly all these books. With the exception of north sun they all follow a similar genre I guess but I am open to anything.
