I love Parable of the Sower & Talents by Octavia Butler and Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. These eco earth novels with strong women leads. I’m a woman farmer myself and an artist so I really connect to these novels personally. I can’t keep re-reading them so I need more suggestions please!!! I am open to fantasy but, I have noticed, when things get too fantastical I start to zone out (ie the court of thorns and roses series). I like practicality to be a part of stories, and the earth as well.

Open to non-woman led novels or other books that are non-fiction. Anything that you think would fit into this vibe!

    Thank you!!!! ^.^

Psalm for the Wild Built – Becky Chambers

Remarkably Bright Creatures – Shelby Van Pelt

      Migrations – Charlotte McConaghy

    2. Maybe The Overstory by Richard Powers or Playground by the same author? It’s not exactly the same thing but I think they are adjacent enough to work!

I really enjoyed Miss Benson’s Beetle by Rachel Joyce.

Also The Girls in the Stilt House by Kelly Mustian

    4. The Color of Distance by Amy Thomson is a good sci-fi novel where a woman lives with ecological aliens.
