A lot of stories usually depict the most forgiving, “perfect” women that accepts the man’s flaws but how about a forgiving and compassionate man that sees through a tumultuous, flawed woman?
I suffer a lot from imposter syndrome, perfectionist, self-esteem/worth issues- the whole I don’t believe I can be fully loved trope. It can be toxic and chaotic in a relationship without work.
It’d be nice to see that play out in a book to convince myself it’s possible. 🙂
