I'm not looking for books that have too much of a young adult writing style. Something a little more well written yet incredibly gripping.
Series i have tried so far have been silo and malazan. Both, i have stopped after like 3 books in.
The themes can be anything but Im into either futuristic, scifi stuff like the expanse or a song of fire and ice/GoT style setting.
The key focus should be world immersion and excellent character design. And of course, multiple books that i can read one after the other. That said, if you know a single book that matches these points, let me know as well. Thanks in advance!
