Looking for narrative non-fiction book recs to add to my TBR this year.
Books in this genre that I love:
– Challenger & Midnight in Chernobyl by Higgnbotham
– All of Krakauer’s books
– Empire of Pain
– Bad Blood
– Dead Wake
– Killers of the Flower Moon & The Wager
– The Lost City of Z
Would love books set in WW2 or combat situations but not a deal breaker if they aren’t. Also love a good survival story.

Look through this sub. Lots of great suggestions. Endurance by Alfred Lansing is my go-to suggestion.
For WWII, you absolutely must read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand!
River of Doubt by Candice Millard
Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
The Spy and the Traitor by Ben Macintyre
