I’m looking for a YA romantic comedy (for around age 16) with a male POV and a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers or rivals-to-lovers romance. The tone should be feel-good and light rather than angsty or dramatic, similar in sweetness to Flipped or Little Manhattan. Ideally, the plot follows a teen boy who discovers he’s special and enters a special academy or school, with clear character growth and strong world-building similar in progression to Harry Potter (not necessarily magic-based). Fantasy elements are welcome but not required.
