I’ve been in a Class on Catholic studies and have been delving more into my faith and I actually quite liked this book especially since I read a lot into history and find the time period of the Cristero War and the interwar years interesting to me.
I was wondering if there’s any other pieces of Catholic fiction like this book or maybe some biographies in a similar style or cover similar themes?
As a side suggestion or request, books on the Spanish Civil War would be interesting as well as I know there was a large repression of the church similar to what happened in the Cristero War. Thank you.

Maybe try The Name of the Rose.
Hemingway wrote a few books about the Spanish civil War – A Farewell to Arms and For Whom the Bell Tolls most notably.
It’s been a minute since I read the Power and the Glory. The Poisonwood Bible is a good book about missionary life in Africa.
