I've been a big fan of movies like Big Fish or I Kill Giants where there's lots of fanciful and fantastical elements to the story, but the viewer is left not truly knowing what is/isn't real. Maybe there really are these magical adventures and fantastical creatures, or maybe it's the product of someone's overactive imagination.
I would like to find a book like this where it's not explicitly spelled out whether the magic/fantasy is real or not.
