I’ve never been a reader but I love movies and stories so its about time I start. I’ve been listening to cameron winter recently and he has a song about nausicaa and I also love nausicaa of the valley of the wind which are both based on nausicaa from the odyssey and I also am excited for the odyssey to come out so first things first, is the odyssey worth reading? And then secondly please give some recommendations on stories about mythology or anything that feels similar even if its not based in mythology.

dude the odyssey is absolutley worth it 🔥 its basically the og adventure story and once you get into the rhythm of it you’ll be hooked. for mythology stuff id recommend circe by madeline miller – its like the odyssey but from a female perspective and way more accessible. also percy jackson if you want something lighter that still hits all the greek myth vibes 😂 neil gaiman’s norse mythology is solid too if you want to branch out from greek stuff
