Hi All,
I'm just about to finish Stephen Kings Dark Tower series. I've really enjoyed this long journey through a strange land. I will miss it.
I'm looking for a book that is an adventure where the journey is a big part of the story. Anything through a fantasy or wasteland, bonus points for underground adventures 🙂
I wont list my previous read, as I'm happy to take all suggestions.
Thank you.

Not quite sure it fits but “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy feels like a must read
The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
The Stand by Stephen King and The Long Walk by Richard Bachman (his pseudonym)
For a really epic, detailed, journey through a rich, diverse fantasy world, check out The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, starting with The Eye of the World.
The Stand by Stephen King
A couple of post apocalyptic series that are underground but don’t necessarily include long journeys because underground are:
The Silo series by Hugh Howey
The Metro series by Dmitry Glukhovsky
*A Wind Named Amnesia* by Hideyuki Kikuchi. It was released with one of Kikuchi’s other novels as *A Wind Named Amnesia/Invader Summer* in the US.
The Devils by Joe Abercrombie
